The Royal Elephant started as an experimental project for making cute decorations akin to what you might find in a nursery or child's room. I have since moved away from the original idea, and have instead become more interested in making jewelry and soft art dolls.
Why an elephant? And why a royal one?
I've always loved elephants, and admired how they are a matriarchal species. I thought they would make a cute theme to go with for a side project like this.
Who is the person behind it?
I go by Willow, and I have been making various art and crafts since I was a little kid. I've been most active with digital art and small crafts for the last 10-12 years. I currently am situated in Orlando with my best friend, Kiwi, my darling tabby kitty.
Does the mascot in the logo have a name?
Yes! Her name is Darla Dimin Demure III ♥
